DONE!

The Clay Pot is Done. Actually what I mean by done is that it is made and ready to be fired. So it is out of our hands. It looks really good, and a special thanks to Rosie for helping us out with it.

We didn't get to the next project but we did make some very nice trinkets for practise.

See you next week!

Almost done the clay pot

Hey Everyone,

So I was at home for reading week but I will give you the update that I got for last week.

The Clay pot was started, and it went well, but it went too long, so it has to be finished tonight. That means that we will be hopefully finishing the pot and then starting a new project tonight. Cross your fingers! I haven't even seen it yet, so I am really excited to see it. look for my next update to explain the clay pot in detail.

PLANS

SO I haven't posted for two weeks. Last week, we decided on how we wanted to design our water testing and our stand and our clay pot. The plan was for me to pick up clay and we could do the pot.

However I got the wrong clay and two of the students were sick, so we went over our water testing information and ideas for our last project. We have decided that as our last day is the 22nd of March, we don't have much time left so it should be a smaller project. One of the better liked ideas was a catapult.

Now I understand this doesn't sound development related, but it could be used for things like outreach events, it is a smaller project and it is something engineering related and interesting. We haven't decided for sure though so it could be something else.

Next week, we are for sure doing the clay pot and finishing water testing methods, so that we can move onto our next project in two weeks.

Later!
